"La valse d'Amelie"
¿Quién no ha visto "Amelie"? O como rezaba su título original: "El fabuloso destino de Amelie Poulain". Simplemente encantadora. Preciosa. Te quedas tan agusto cuando la ves. Y la puedes ver una vez y otra y otra y no cansarte. La esperanza, la sinceridad, la inocencia, el ingenio, la alegría de vivir, la fantasía, el misterio, el enamoramiento, el disfrute en las pequeñas cosas, la amistad, la búsqueda... Nada hay negativo en Amelie.
El director, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, ya había sorprendido a medio mundo con, por ejemplo, la delirante y/o extravagante "Delicatessen" (esa escena con todos los vecinos del edificio fregando, cocinando, tocando instrumentos, haciéndolo todo, al ritmo del ñiki-ñiki cada vez más rápido de una cama es genial...) o con otra gozada retro-posmo, "La ciudad de los niños perdidos" (qué buen actor es ese mostruosamente encantador Ron Perlman, el hermano de la monstruosamente encantadora Rhea Perlman, aquella feucha italiana de "Cheers") en compañía de Marc Caro. También había sorprendido separándose de él para rodar en EEUU la pobre en contenido pero de continente de diseño tercera parte de Alien.
Y de repente rodó ésto: una comedia. Una muy buena comedia, ni más ni menos. Con personajes que son mundos y mundos que son galaxias, éso sí. Pocas veces se han condensado tantas cosas diferentes en una peli, pocas veces se ha dibujado tan bien a tantos personajes ni se les ha dado tanta vida a tantos decorados, todos con su parte de historia.
Una obra maestra que recibió 5 nominaciones a los Oscar -siendo una peli extranjera- y obtuvo 4 César -entre ellos el de Mejor Banda Sonora- además de estar nominada a otros 9.
Todo el mundo ha oído y disfrutado este vals de Amelie de Yann Tiersen. Muy poco conocido fuera de su país a causa de su música difícil, demostró con estos temas -instrumentales, como casi todo en su carrera- que podía hacer música repleta de matices sin necesidad de complicaciones franco-experimentales, música hipermoderna con sus raíces hundidas en el Sena de los músicos callejeros. Y lo hizo, además de con lo compuesto específicamente para el flin, usando temas que ya había incluído en otros discos anteriores... consiguiendo, sin embargo, que nada sonara fuera de lugar.

Otra peli que yo creo que hemos visto todos, aunque sólo sea por la cantidad de veces que la han puesto en televisión, es "Tras el corazón verde".
Aventuras, comicidad y romance de los buenos, apoyados en unos actores en el mejor momento de sus carreras (como podreis comprobar en el video, donde hacen de coro de lujo, Michael Douglas y Kathleen Turner todavía estaban guapos y buenorros, y Danny DeVito todavía estaba... todavía era... ejem, Danny DeVito)

Amélie es una de mis pelis favoritas y otra vez nos volvemos a pisar, entradas de blog ;-) jejeje
Decir que Tiersen tiene cosas escritas para piano en ese estilo que son una verdadera preciosidad. Lo descubrí a raíz de esta peli (y me las bajé e incluso las toqué durante un tiempo)
De "tras el corazón ... " qué puedo decir? La ví en el cine y me lo pasé en grande. Ains, esas pelis de aventuras de los 80/90, ya no se hacen las cosas como entonces, jo! (bueno, a lo mejor somos nosotros, que nos hacemos mayores y perdemos la ilusión, yo qé sé)

No perdemos la ilusión. Si fuera así, no disfrutaríamos como lo hacemos de pelis como Amelie o Moulin Rouge y de lo sumamente bien -o mal- que nos hacen sentir. Sí que creo que vemos las cosas de otra manera. No veo a la gente joven de hoy sintiendo las historias como nosotros, no sé por qué. No les veo llorando con La Sirenita, como yo... ¡jua! ;)
¿Y tú como sabes lo que tengo siempre en la cabeza? Qué cosas...
